Putting Relationships at the Heart of Education: A Manifesto for Change for the Better

The conference aims to bring together educators, policymakers, researchers, and advocates from around the UK to flesh out a set of guiding principles and desired policies which are desperately needed to address the multiple crises in education that we face today. By centering the role that healthy relationships play, including our relationship with ourselves, with each other and with our environment, we believe we can create a more inclusive, supportive, and transformative learning environment for individuals and for society.

Throughout the two-day event, attendees will engage in thought-provoking discussions, co-created workshops, and collaborative sessions designed to:

• Identify the challenges and policy level barriers to relationship-centred education.
• Elucidate the types of relationships that we want our education system to be based on.
• Develop a comprehensive manifesto outlining guiding principles and actionable steps that the next Government should take for regenerating our education system, our society and our environment.

The conference is free to participants and attendance is by invitation only. We are accepting applications from school leaders, particularly Secondary phase. Please RSVP to express your interest and explain what you feel you will contribute to the conference.
